I originally joined Rory Mack Associates in October 1997, at which time the company was only 5 years old. Fresh out of Staffordshire University with a BSc (Hons) in Valuation Surveying, I quickly developed an interest and passion for commercial estate agency and continue to deal with all aspects of the department to this day and oversee the agency team and its performance.
In June 2003, I became a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), and in 2005 acquired ownership of the firm by means of an MBA from the then owner and founder, Rory Mack.
Born in Alsager and having spent many of my former years in the rural village of Woore on the Staffordshire/Cheshire borders, I've always lived locally and now live in the house that the artistically acclaimed Arnold Machin OBE resided at on The Villas, in Stoke.
I am a Chartered Surveyor and RICS Registered Valuer with over 28 years of experience and joined RMA in 2008, having worked locally before in both private practise as well as the National Coal Board, British Waterways and Stoke on Trent City Council.
In my current role, covering predominantly North Staffordshire and South Cheshire, I undertake commercial and residential valuations for secured lending purposes, private valuations for the acquisition or disposal of property, capital gains tax calculations, inheritance taxation valuations, valuations for company accounts, development appraisals, pension fund valuations and valuations for the court for both matrimonial and retrospective valuation purposes. In addition I undertake valuations of schools for local authorities, for asset valuation and insurance reinstatement purposes.
I am a member of the property management department. My day to day activity involves liaising with commercial and residential landlords and their tenants, within an extensive property portfolio spanning Staffordshire and South Cheshire. I also oversee maintenance and refurbishment projects and statutory compliance issues with all the properties. Staffordshire has been my home for life. I’ve moved around from Cheadle where I attended school, Uttoxeter during my university years and now reside in Bucknall, Stoke on Trent.
I am a member of the property management department. My day to day activity involves liaising with commercial and residential landlords and their tenants, within an extensive property studio spanning Staffordshire and South Cheshire. I also oversee maintenance and refurbishment projects and statutory compliance issues with all the properties. My life outside of work is very much family and good friends orientated, I enjoy eating out, weekends away, holidaying and Gin tasting!
I am a member of the property management department. In my position I cover a range of day to day activities which include communicating with both commercial and residential landlords and tenants. I provide advice to clients looking to invest or diversify their current portfolio in and round the staffordshire area. I liaise with contractors and clients when overseeing various maintenance and building projects as well as carrying out site inspections.
Having made the move from Somerset with Fiancée where we spent where we spent the majority of our life, I have fully embraced my professional career in Newcastle under Lyme. I graduated from The Royal Agricultural University with a BSc (Hons) Real Estate and have also obtained a degree in Engineering from Plymouth University.
My duties involve all aspects of property management administration dealing with residential and commercial clients and tenants including collection of rent, ealing with property management issues producing monthly reports of rents and arrears to the property management coordinators.
I deal with the financial management of the department ensuring all accounts are reconciled and balanced to bank statements.
Before my time with Rory Mack Associates I worked for Marks and Spencer for 35 years enjoying many different job roles during my employment, I first started as a Christmas temp with a 3 month contract and worked on all of the departments, my final role was within the HR team before taking redundancy.

I was born and bred in Staffordshire and gained my marketing degree at Staffordshire University. Having spent much of my childhood in Newcastle, I’ve resided around North Staffordshire and Manchester for most of my working life.
I am a member of the commercial estate agency department and undertake a wide range of duties to ensure the smooth and effective running of the department to include all aspects of the companies social media marketing. My day to day activities within the business involve client engagement, dealing with incoming enquiries for commercial properties, dealing with incoming enquiries for commercial properties, dealing with the marketing content of social media to include; Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the RMA website, putting commercial properties onto the open market and removing them once let or sold. Born in Cornwall, members of family having jobs down there. When I was only 6 years old my family moved back to Staffordshire, taking me with them, I have and now resided around Staffordshire for my working life.
I am a building surveyor responsible for providing Home Buyers Surveys and Building Surveys on residential property where purchasers require an independent summary of the condition of the property with an emphasis on finding and explaining any faults.
I act direct for the client homebuyer and not a mortgage company which ensures that my duty of car is other purchase. Once my report is issued I'm available to discuss any particular concerns with the client.
In addition, I also prepare condition reports for commercial property, particularly for dilapidation claims and lease negotiations by way of schedule of condition.
I have a Master's Degree in Commericial Building Surveying and am studying toward RICS qualification.

I joined RMA in May 2017 in the position of looking after varied aspects of general administration, credit contract and accounts. I also assist both the commercial agency and property management departments.
Although I originate from the Newcastle area I did spend a period of time living and working in Turkey. This was a big eye opener and cultural shock but definitely a great experience which has created a lot of memories. I realised during my time there, that there was a lot more to Turkey than meets the eye - between the beaches and bustling markets lies a wealth of interesting history and landmarks. Definitely a perfect reason to visit!
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children, family & friends as well as participating in running events to raise money for local and national charities.
